In this week's Podcast from Washington Government Affairs team members Ian Goldstein and Eli Briggs discuss the Pandemic and All-Hazards Preparedness Act and NACCHO's Congressional testimony presented by Executive Director for Harris County Public Health Dr. Umair Shah. They also discuss the FDA tobacco comment extension, and the rescission package in the House.

Later in the program, Ian Goldstein sat down with Public Health Director at the Middleton Board of Health and State Association of County and City Health Official Derek Fullerton to talk about their new opioid toolkit for all local health departments in Massachusetts. The toolkit contains best practices around opioids. They also discuss newly legalized cannabis in the state.
