John Auerbach was the Boston Health Commissioner for 9 years before becoming the Associate Director for Policy at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He will become the President of Trust for America's Health this year. Before leaving CDC, he was instrumental in the RESOLVE report "The High-Achieving Government Health Department in 2020 as the Community Chief Health Strategist." Auerbach discusses the report with Government Affairs Specialist Ian Goldstein, and how the Chief Health Strategist framework can help local health departments take action.
